Source – The ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign was initiated on November 1, 2017 in South Korea, with the goal: ‘Love myself, then make the world a better place for all with that love.’

Source – On October 5, the civic group Nation’s People Preserving the Korean Language announced that BTS has been chosen as the “Top Promoter of the Korean Language” this year.

“There is an increasing number of people overseas who want to learn the Korean language, and television shows and popular music are leading the rise in popularity,” they stated. “BTS has been chosen as the first because of their large contributions to raising international awareness about our language and culture.”

Suicide in South Korea is the 10th highest rate in the world according to the World Health Organization, as well as the highest suicide rate for an OECD member state.[1][2]

They needed a partner that could pursue and sympathize with their messages through a campaign, philosophy and leadership, based on proper scale, organization and experience. That’s how the Korean Committee for UNICEF become an ideal partner because of their dedication to improving human rights and the lives of children and teens over the past seven decades as one of the largest international non-profit organizations.
